LOLZ

Hi there everyone...

How life? Any H1N1 cases in town? I’ll be back home next week before spending my 5 days holiday with my families and friends again.. I heard that Shu Wen been accepted to go into Maktab Perguruan just few days ago. Really glad to hear that news. Pei Ny are having her exam in UM. Jian Wei also will be going to have a holiday next week. How bout others? Cheuck? Zhing Yik? Soon Heng? Oh ya. Fong Yew got called me few days ago and asked me to go play futsal with him in KL. Lolz...

The crazy season of BPL has come again. Arsenal the only powerhouse that start their season with a bang, by hammering Everton 6-1. Manchester United starts their life without their CR7 and The Beast, by a hard fought 1-0 win over Birmingham City. Chelsea once again need the Midas touch of Drogba to secure a 2-1 win. Liverpool? It’s a shame they cant start their season with a bang. They sorely miss how Xabi Alonso pulling the thread from the midfield. Hope they can bounce up again before other side dealt a blow on their title challenge. Err... Did I miss someone here? Oh ya. Kheng Jie’s Newcastle!!! Haha. Hope they just can climb up again before they slumped down to Division 1, similar to Leeds United some years ago..

I just receive the news that Pn. Lee Mary been admitted into hospital yesterday. Hope she will be back soon. I sorely miss her cute antiques here. She is one of the best Math teacher I ever had.

Emm. I think that’s all for today. Nothing more to report. Haha. Take care ya everyone. Miss you all. Muacks muacks muacks J

With regards,

FARUQI13.

Running for MPP

HI everyone.
How ya life there? Still repetitive harmonic motion? Haha. I got nothing to do and decided to post something in this blog. I just have a good deep sleep last night after 2days sleepless marathon. I been chosen to represent my class for running in my college Majlis Perwakilan PElajar here. I never have this kind of sick idea to be part of 14-members commitee who will be like the cabinet for the college. We ought to do series of campaign and become a sweet-lips politician for a whole week. Some of us even print down some brochure and did some serious campaigning. The mood really amazing, while some candidates been welcomed everywhere they go, but some were called as liar when they try to deliver their speech. I chose to walk the simple way, I do not print any sorts of self-boasting brochure but just deliver a speech saying I will be there when my help is needed. Lucky for me, my classmates been so supportive with me. They the one that do all the campaigning for me, and make a slogan for my election campaign " 1 vote for QiQi, 1 vote for CHANGE!!". The best part is they made a huge banner using 3 pieces of Mahjong Paper writing " We LOVE QiQi!!" and put it infront of our apartment. I swear I do not even have any idea they will be doing this, and they kept on screaming for whole 5 minutes I stand on the stage.. ArGHHHH!!! You all really ROCK my world that evening!!! Its really cool la. OMG. I just cant believe to see the support you all give me.. Thanks you all. Ill sure find some pics about my election campaign here. Haha. hope to hear from you all. Muacks

[E.M.P.T.Y.]

Woah.. So long dint touch this blog already.. Starting to dusty ed lolz. Hmm.. How is everyone? Exam ok not? Ermm. Nowadays the H1N1 is really horrible. By date, it already snatched 14 lives of Malaysians. I heard there is some cases of H1N1 in SP. Just take care everyone. For those not in SP, Pei Ny, Yi Qi, Fong Yew, Jathon, Kam Seng ++, do take great care of yourself too. Drink lots lots lots of water..

hmm...I still remember how we start this blog together and be the first class in Sin Min to have this kind of blog lolz.. But that was almost 1 year ago. A lively blog had transformed into a dying blog, creeping on the dusty and silent way to die.. There is no longer a group of blog admin to update this, no longer passers-by posting any feedback, I am just a tired blogger to kept on mumbling alone in this blog. Hmm. I do remember clearly, our friend suggesting we start doing a blog for our class before we seperate. Then, as soon as the idea pop out, Hean Ping start doing a blog on 5th of Novemeber. That is where everything start. But now, slowly, there is nothing left. Just a stupid old man trying to stop this blog from falling into pieces...

take care all!!

( Imagine big tough guy with hairy legs doing all those pose in front of everyone!!!) OK la guys. Enough kacau here. Oh ya, for those who following the Teoh Boon Hock case, is there any function to collect fund for his child in SP?? Rest in peace. God sure punished those who responsible in his death.

Mumbling...mumbling....

Hey!! It still feel like just yesterday we finished our SPM. I still coping with the life here. Aiks. Quite miss my secondary skul time. Here, no longer have the luxury to rely on teachers. There is no pn. Lee Mary, no more Pn Ho keng Tin, no Cik Ngan, and no more Pn Teo. Every single thing from finding resources to finding the correct answers in exercise is done by ourself. It just part of growing up I think. I sit on my study desk about 6 hours a day which I never done so in my life. Aiks. Haha. I brought our school magz here and show it to my friends some time ago. They were damn shocked to see how much our school students to score in every major exam. They told me that after looking in our school glory, they felt their is school is just a lame school. I laugh till my tears oso come out to hear that when thinking how many SIn Min-ist being so critical about our school.( especially Chan) Haha. Hmm. So how everyone there? I just read xin yuan's blog and she sure glad on her way to achive her dream to be a nurse. Lolz. Oh ya. Next week F6 guys will have exam ed. Good luck ya. Take care!!

Partial Solar Eclipse in Malaysia – 22 July 2009

For those astro fans who do not get the chance to go China to witness the longest total solar eclipse in 21st century… You still can see a partial eclipse in Malaysia. However, don’t expect too much. The total coverage is not that fantastic compare to the partial solar eclipse during last January (on the 1st day of CNY). This time, only 8-17% of total coverage depends on the location… So basically,  you won’t feel anything during the eclipse take place.

On Wednesday, 2009 July 22, a total eclipse of the Sun is visible from within a narrow corridor that traverses half of Earth. The path of the Moon’s umbral shadow begins in India and crosses through Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar and China. After leaving mainland Asia, the path crosses Japan’s Ryukyu Islands and curves southeast through the Pacific Ocean where the maximum duration of totality reaches6 min 39 s. A partial eclipse is seen within the much broader path of the Moon’s penumbral shadow, which includes most of eastern Asia, Indonesia, and the Pacific Ocean.

Above are some infomation about sun eclipse.
In the morning,we (especially lower six students) joined the teacher to check out the sun eclipse.
Actually most of us(L61 and L63) curi curi go down and joined them..haha...
Weel,L62 was already in the physic' laboratory.
Tan Kim Siang and En. Chan also joined in too.Hahaha...
We took a look just for few minutes only, like 6 minutes only i think....
And it slowly disappear...
We use the telescope(um,the big one,not sure what it called)...
And the paper-maded"black glasses"??(not sure what it called again XD)to see.

Mumbling..

Woah. Its been so long before I get a chance tto post something in our blog. Lolz. Well, Thanks for all those best wishes from everyone. Really appreciate it. Haha. I now in my college library. The WIFI here damn slow. I do not bring laptop here, lolz. Quite regret it ( no more DotA). Hehe. My college is the smallest but the longest in whole mlaysia( this is what our Datin or CEO of this college said ). It is not as huge and smart like INTI Nilai or AIMST there. It is just comprises of 2 rows of shop house. Lolz. I already used up rm400 just to buy 3 A level textbook here and still got plenty of notes and reference book to buy. Aiks. Yesterday only I knew about the PPSMI have been abolished. well, I really think we should never abolish it, but we need to enhance it. Look at our neighbouring nation, their young generations are having better quality of education compared to us. We still lagging behind. Ok... stop politick-ing..I become MJ here. We got a special persembahan and I am chosen to do the Thriller MV. Lolz. Imagine me doing moonwalk... haha. Many nuts are here. I just got only 2 seniors from our school here. There are many Sabahans and Sarawakians here. But I just could not find any Penan-ese here. I just want to know how they live in right now. If you all got read the news almost some months ago, it is about how the Balak contractors using up the girls there to fulfill their lust. Aiks. Hmm... Jason ed went back to Australia. I haven't got the chance to play a testimonial match before we both left SP. Haha. Chai Ling, Ah ea, Qin Wen and Chia Fen are also leavinng tomorrow. Teachers-to-be, good luck. Hehe. For those studying F6, exam realli soon now. Add oil, add oil!! Dont give up!! I got a mid-sem holiday in the middle of August. Maybe we will meet again and do small, small gathering. Hehe..Ok la. The day world stop moving

MJ IN MEMORY

Michael Jackson spent the last years of his life buried in debt. But the King of Pop's death is likely to yield a financial bonanza more lucrative than any comeback tour ever could, as fans snap up his music and memorabilia and perhaps one day get the chance to tour his Neverland home.

"Quite frankly, he may be worth more dead than alive," said Jerry Reisman, general counsel for the Hit Factory, a recording studio where Jackson produced his best-selling album "Thriller."

Jackson's death at age 50 leaves a multitude of questions about a financial empire that included his own music, as well a 50 percent stake in a library that held the rights to songs by the Beatles. But Jackson reportedly had $400 million in debts, and it isn't known yet how his estate will be divided and who the beneficiaries will be.

This much is clear: Jackson's heirs, music labels and opportunists will probably be mining his legacy for decades to come.

In that way, his death may parallel that of the music industry's original King - Elvis Presley, who died in 1977 at age 42.

Like Jackson, Presley hadn't had a hit album in years. At the end of his life, he was mostly relying on royalties from his past hits and doing shows in Las Vegas. But in death he became a moneymaking phenomenon.

Presley's estate was valued at just $4.9 million at the time of his death. In 2005, a company run by media entrepreneur Robert F.X. Sillerman paid $100 million for 85 percent of the estate and a 90-year lease on his Memphis mansion, Graceland.

By some estimates, Jackson's estate could be worth more than $1 billion. Besides the master recordings of his own music, Jackson owned half of Sony/ATV Music Publishing, a jewel estimated to be worth $2 billion by itself. The 750,000-song catalog includes music by the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Neil Diamond, Lady Gaga and the Jonas Brothers.
Creditors will get first crack at the estate.

"I think the first question is, `Is there anything left after you pay off the debts?'" said Robert Rasmussen, the dean of law at the University of Southern California.

Jackson might have shielded some of his estate from creditors and ensured that his children were taken care of by placing a life insurance policy and other assets in an irrevocable trust, said Steve Hartnett, associate director of education for the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys.

The pop star left behind three children: Michael Joseph Jackson Jr., known as Prince Michael, 12; Paris Michael Katherine Jackson, 11; and Prince Michael II, 7. The elder children were born to ex-wife Deborah Rowe, while the youngest is his biological son, born to a surrogate mother.
Other potential beneficiaries include Jackson's parents, his five brothers, three sisters and a long list of nieces and nephews. His children's nanny was believed to be close to Jackson.

The contents of Jackson's will have not been released. Typically, a will becomes public within about 30 days of a person's death.

In a statement Friday, Joel Katz, Jackson's entertainment affairs attorney, gave no clues to how Jackson disposed of his estate.

"Michael Jackson was a perfectionist, and his business affairs are worldwide," Katz said. "Many of them are quite ongoing and will be dealt with appropriately."

One big question will be what happens to Neverland, where Jackson surrounded himself with animals, rides and children. Jackson nearly lost the ranch to foreclosure in March, but billionaire real estate investor Thomas Barrack bailed him out, setting up a joint venture with Jackson that took ownership of the 2,500-acre (1,000-hectare) property in Santa Barbara County.
Barrack declined to comment.

Fans, meanwhile, are rushing to buy Jackson's old songs in a scramble that began within minutes of his death. Both Amazon and Barnes and Noble reported selling out of Jackson's CDs, and his music accounted for the most downloads at Apple's iTunes store.

Amazon's sales of Jackson's albums and MP3s were 700 times higher on Thursday after news of Jackson's death, and they were running at an even higher rate Friday, according to Bill Carr, the company's vice president of music and video.

"It's really hard to express what someone dying really means and how it absolutely brands that individual into the culture," said Del Bryant, CEO of Broadcast Music Inc., which collects royalties for the use of "Beat It," "Billy Jean" and other songs composed by Jackson. "If you look at everyone from Patsy Cline to the Big Bopper to Buddy Holly ... the effect on the catalog is tremendous."

Bryant said expects revenue from public performances of Jackson's songs to triple this year because of his death.

Sillerman's company, CKX, controls licensing of Presley's image, which has been slapped on dozens of pieces of merchandise, such as T-shirts, watches, belt buckles and figurines. In 2007, Presley's brand earned $52 million - beating out living acts like Justin Timberlake and Madonna, according to Forbes magazine, which has put Elvis atop its list of top-earning dead celebrities for two years running.

Jackson's heirs may similarly explore ways to make money from the singer's likeness and art, perhaps through T-shirts, compilations of previously unreleased music, or stage productions based on his songs.

It's also easy to envision Neverland becoming the next Graceland, said Steve Gordon, an entertainment attorney who worked at Sony Music during the 1990s.

The singer's death could also boost business for the legion of Jackson impersonators. Adrienne Gusoff, who runs the New York-based impersonating agency Bubbygram.com, said she expects the dozen Jackson clones she represents to be about as much in demand as entertainers who impersonate stars like Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe.

"I think his death will make him an even bigger star," Gusoff said.

First, though, her Jackson impersonators will have to get over the loss of their hero. "One of my guys in New Jersey is devastated," she said. "It's like a family member died.'

-------------------------

Well. The reasons behind posting this not to show any disrespect to MJ. He is a man that broke the wall of hatred ad racism with his pop song and sizzling moon-walks dance. It is a devastating news to know the King of Pop passed away at the age of 50. He may done some sins and wrong, but he just a mortal like us. MJ left us to meet the Creator. Leaving all his wealth and family. May his good deeds be counted and God spare him heaven. Rest in peace, MJ.

柔佛女生从澳洲返马感染流感 今日再添12病例,一人是婴孩

http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/107116

Everyone who reading this, take really good care of your hygeine. Spend less time outdoor. Take care.

Empty part 2

Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow.
Don't walk behind me, I may not lead.
Walk beside me and be my friend.
Hmm.. Back mumbling again. well I just saw this quote some time ago and just want to share it with everyone here. Friend, is just so simple. You neither need to act as his or her superior, or be inferior to someone. Just be cool and be the way you like. Remember Eminem's hit song "The way I am" ? Ya, just be yourself. But not many people really care bout this. This will only cause you having trouble in seeking a true mutual friend who could share your thought and problems. Nah. I am not saying I am a perfect guy, I am not a good friend but I totally aware of it. I just would want to shred off my devil mask before losing everyone here. Friend is just not about time that you spent together, but how do the time been spend. Well. Sometime when you need someone to give you a short advice or lift-up, you just never expect there is a pat on your back from a friend you seldom talk with. This is true. Hmm. Better get going. Ciao, my comrades.
* I am not shooting anyone here. Just doing some stupid mumble to kill off time. Lolz. Take care.

Hi there everyone. Hmm. It is school holiday now. ( Not many people bother about this anymore..) Hean Ping, Cheuck, Jason, Amber and other writer of our blog currently busy with their study. Oh ya, Jason and Shan Jin will be back in town soon, if not mistaken is on 11th of June. Hehe. Maybe we will do another gathering. ( Lolz. Our class really famous of this) Our school had just got the Cluster School Award. Another trophy to put in the cupboard. Lolz. The weather is so hot nowadays. Kinda living in microwave oven. Just imagine what kind of weather our great-great-great grandsons will live in if we continue burning forest for fun like this. Haiz. Ok guys, enough stupid mumbling. Got to go. Take care.

You are terminated!!

Woah. This really a cool movie. If you love those action-packed plus science fiction movie, this wmust be placed top on your to-do-list. It really a pity, we no longer had the huge Arnie shooting his gus with his cool black spectacles, shouting " Hasta la Vista, baby!". But the new lead actor also prooved not just a fluke. We all should gather and watch this. Hehe. This is some synopsis of the movie. John Connor is the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future that Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright, a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet's operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind. Enjoy!!

Hasta la Vista, baby!!

Hallo

Hallo everyone. Sorry for not posting anything for so long. I am now studying Form 6 in our old school. Form 6 is really tough ( Puan Lee Mary just told us that our nation STPM is the second toughest test in the world after the Japan Entrance Test), I just could not find any breathing space to update this blog. Hmm. Hean Ping had left SP, doing his matriculation in Perlis. Good luck to him. There will be a 2 week holiday start from tomorrow. Hope we could hanging around play badminton or just watch some movie. To Jason, well, ManU really were not in their best form this morning. But just keep your chin up, Kheng Jie's Magpies already went down into the Coca-Cola league for next season. OK, need to do my homework. Take care evryone.

http://blog.limkitsiang.com/2009/05/19/6as-get-psd-scholarship-for-engineering-but-13-14as-no-scholarships-–-whole-cabinet-should-be-sacked-for-allowing-such-nonsense-year-in-year-out/
This is simply outrageous – a student with 6A1s getting a Public Services Department (PSD) scholarship to study engineering while students with 13A1s and 14A1s not getting any scholarships!
The whole Cabinet should be sacked for allowing such nonsense, year in year out!
It is none other than the Deputy Education Minister, Datuk Dr. Wee Ka Siong, who revealed this shocking example of the gross injustices and sheer perversity of the PSD scholarship scheme, which makes Malaysians wonder about the quality of the political and civil service leadership in the country.
The Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s “1Malaysia. People First. Performance Now” was torn into shreds by the JPA scholarship exercise this year, with thousands of the young generation’s best and brightest burning with protest in their hearts at the injustices of the JPA scholarship system, which is likely to remain with them for life influencing their outlook and mindset.
A typical case is 18-year-old Chin Ee Lyn, former student of SMK Convent Taiping (9A1s and 2As) who is unsuccessful in applying for a JPA scholarship to do accountancy in the UK. She is also not given a “consolation prize” of an offer for matriculation.Chin has had straight A’s for all her public exams and was the top scorer in the state of Perak for her PMR exam.
She recently completed National Service in Kem Sungai Bakap. In school she was a well-rounded achiever. Her co-curricular achievements include being the head of library, prefect, vice-president of the karate club, president of the tennis club, and in the editorial board of her school magazine.
She was also a member of a choir which was the district champion, and received a bronze medal in a state-level Perak Goshin-ryu tournament. She received a merit award in the Wordsmith Competition - Search for Malaysia’s Best Teenage Writer in 2007.
Yesterday, together with DAP MPs Fong Kui Lun (Bukit Bintang), Anthony Loke (Rasah) and Tony Pua (Petaling Jaya Utara), I met the PSD director-general Tan Sri Ismail Adam at PSD headquarters at Putrajaya.
Conveying the nation-wide outrage at the injustices of the current PSD scholarship exercise, we asked that the full criteria for scholarship selection as well as the full list of scholarship receipients together with their results be published in the interests of fairness and transparency.I also personally invited Ismail to the public forum on PSD scholarship awards to be held at the Kuala Lumpur/Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall tonight so that he could address the queries and grievances of the disappointed students and their parents.
On both questions, Ismail said he needed clearance from his political superiors.
After the noon meeting yesterday, I faxed to Ismail an official invitation to the public forum tonight. I hope he would be able to personally attend the public forum after getting the necessary clearance.
As for the authorization for the publication of the full criteria for scholarship selection as well as the full list of scholarship receipients together with their results in the name of fairness, accountability and transparency – this is the least that the Cabinet should do at its meeting tomorrow.
If the Cabinet tomorrow could not even take a policy decision to authorize and direct the PSD to make public the full criteria for scholarship selection as well as the full list of scholarship receipients with the individual results, then the first Najib Cabinet is beyond redemption! In keeping with the Najib motto of “1Malaysia. People First. Performance Now”, the Cabinet at its meeting tomorrow must come up with a swift and just solution to the scandal of the PSD scholarship awards, based on the following three principles:
• Firstly, it would be unfair and unjust to withdraw any PSD scholarship which had been awarded last Friday;
• Secondly, all students with 9A1s and above should be awarded PSD scholarships – which means an increased allocation of RM300 million for JPA scholarships from RM700 million to RM1 billion. A special supplementary estimate of RM300 million for 2009 should be presented to the June meeting for this new allocation and the government can be assured of support from Pakatan Rakyat MPs. I don’t think any Barisan Nasional Minister or MP could argue against such an increased allocation when there is gross misuse of public funds – like the RM12 billion Port Klang Free Port scandal.
• Thirdly, the whole system of PSD scholarship awards should be revamped from next year onwards to end the perennial complaints every year about the injustices of the awards so that it is in full accord with the slogan “1Malaysia. People First. Performance Now”. A Parliamentary Select Committee headed by an Opposition MP should be formed in June meeting of Parliament to completely revamp the PSD scholarship system

Happy Teacher's Day

Dear all teachers that have been teaching us, just want to wish you all a Happy Teacher's Day. Thanks for the teaching you gave tirelessly. It will be impossible for us to climb this high without your effort. We will never forget and dissapoint you all. Thank you, teacher.
A Teacher for All Seasons

A teacher is like Spring,
Who nurtures new green sprouts,
Encourages and leads them,
Whenever they have doubts.

A teacher is like Summer,
Whose sunny temperament
Makes studying a pleasure,
Preventing discontent.

A teacher is like Fall,
With methods crisp and clear,
Lessons of bright colors
And a happy atmosphere.

A teacher is like Winter,
While it’s snowing hard outside,
Keeping students comfortable,
As a warm and helpful guide.

Teacher,
you do all these things,
With a pleasant attitude;
You’re a teacher for all seasons,
And you have my gratitude!

Sichuan : A year after disaster

NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2009/05/photogalleries/china-earthquake-anniversary-ruins/index.html

Beichuan, Sichuan Province, China, May 12, 2009--One year ago today, a massive earthquake struck southwest China, killing nearly 90,000 and leaving five million homeless. (See quake photos from 2008.)
A year after the magnitude 8.0 quake, some wounds have begun to heal: Homes have been built or rebuilt, lives reconstructed, bridges patched together or built better than new. But much of the Sichuan Province still lies in shambles (such as Beichuan's piles of rubble, shown above).
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Still remember this fateful day that snatched so many poor victims? Some of the survivor still been living in trauma after losing so many loved one in just a blink of eye. Here in Malaysia, we are very lucky not to have this titanic-magnitude catastrophic on us. Let us all offer a silent prayers for them.

For every year that passes by
Another layer is added
To one's pile of experiences in life
Another mile is passed
In the long road of one's stuggle
Look back
To yesteryear's failure and mistakes
To learn and rectify
To the achievements and sucesses
For encouragement and inspiration
Look forward
To more experience and struggle
To more achievements and sucesses
With confidence and optimism

Back to school

Tommorow is 11th of May. So, tommorow is the day we been waiting since we finished our studies some months ago. Tomorrow will be the day we pick up our bag been thrown away in the corner for ages and going back into classroom and hear teacher's "mumbling" again. Some will be going AIMST for their foundation, while others going back to school for Form 6. Oh ya, 1 of our classmates will be going Perlis for her matriculation and some will be going TARC. Time gone so swiftly. With just a blink of eye, we will be parting from home soon. Quite miss the days we wearing green trousers, blue pinafore, making noise in our class. Maybe Mr. Lim Ee Lim misses our class boys who always made him run around the field to chase us all back into the class after the PJ. Maybe Puan Parimala misses our noisy class who always make her shout. Maybe Puan Salwiyah misses us all that nearly caused accident everytime when we went into the Chemistry Lab. Maybe Pn. Choong misses those who always slept at the back in her class. Lolz. Where is Fong Yew now? Where is Shing Yee now? Hmm. Good old times... For those who going for Form 6, remember bring the confirmation letter which needed to be download from MOE website. Those who want to appeal for their JPA, can do so at this link

http://youth.mca.org.my/Chinese?Form%20Library/Borang%20rayuanJPA2009.pdf. Guys, just wish you all good luck ahead. I just know that, 5.3 is the best class I ever had. Keep in touch, dude. To all Mothers around the world, Happy Mother Day. A million thanks for taking good care of your children. Lolz. Chia Fen, happy Mother Day too. You always sounds like mother everytime you talk and nag at us. haha.

Another snatch victim dead

JOHOR BARU: The killers on motorcycles have done it again — this time, snatch thieves took two lives when they tried to rob pregnant Jamilah Selamat.

Jamilah, 31, suffered severe head injuries after falling from her motorcycle on Sunday. She died at the Sultanah Aminah Hospital at 7.30am yesterday without regaining consciousness.

Her husband of seven months, trader Razali Ahmad, 41, was a distraught man yesterday.

For him, the tragedy was harder to take because he had just started to taste happiness again after five years when his first wife died of cancer.

The tragedy also leaves Jamilah’s two children from her first marriage — Norasyikin Salleh, seven, and Mohd Khairi Ridwan Salleh, five — without their mother. They looked dazed and clung to their crying stepfather.

Razali said he was told by an eyewitness — his older brother’s friend — that his wife had hit the pavement face first and did not move after that.

“The witness told me that he saw two men on a motorcycle flee the scene immediately after Jamilah fell, and her bag was nowhere to be seen,” he told reporters at the hospital mortuary yesterday.

Razali said Jamilah, a handicraft dealer, was on her way home to Taman Mekar after work that day.

Jamilah had lost her handbag to snatch thieves last year but escaped unharmed. A friend advised her to twirl the handbag around the rearview mirror for a tighter hold.

That move may have been fatal.

When the snatch thieves grabbed Jamilah’s bag, they pulled her motorcycle, causing Jamilah to fall.

“I never thought that I would lose her this way. We were expecting our child, we have only been married for seven months ... I lost my first wife to bone cancer and now, I have lost Jamilah and baby,” he said.

Razali has two teenage children from his previous marriage.

Jamilah and the unborn child were buried at the Ayer Hitam cemetery yesterday.

Batu Pahat OCPD Asst Comm Ibrahim Arif confirmed police received a report on the incident.

Eyewitnesses are urged to contact the police hotline at 07-2212999.

In 2004, a Nanyang Siang Pau clerk, Chong Fee Cheng, 37, died after she lapsed into a coma following a snatch theft in Taman Molek, Johor Bahru.

In December last year, snatch theft victim Lim See Nya, 58, was run over by a three-tonne truck when she lost her balance and fell onto the road, after a motorcycle pillion rider grabbed her handbag in Bukit Mertajam.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I am speechless once again to see this on this morning. Why must this innoncent, poor lady become a victim to those monster? What is wrong with the society?

I read one article written by Raja Petra Kamaruddin again last night where he state that Malaysia is not just a failed state, but a failed society as well. Look how some Malaysian treat those stray dogs and cats? Aren't the cats or dogs are creation of god, living things just like us? Who are us to punish and torture them just because they were straying in our neighbourhood?

Things get really scary nowadays. Rape, snatch, murder occurs throughout Malaysia daily. Is this the nation that wanted to achieve the Vision 2020? One of my my friend had repeatedly told me that he and his family had been living in terror every day as there is many break-in occurs in his taman. The scary part is, the theft bring along parang which will be used to hack and slash anyone to stop him.

I still remember when I was a young boy some years ago, I always been told Malaysia is a safe country with a relatively-low criminal rate. I used to believe in that, but now? I do not even dare to let my sister went out of my house alone.

Back to the snatch incident, I read an article in Sin Chew Daily how to protect yourself against this bastards. When your bag been snatched, DO NOT force yourself by pulling it. You may just injured yourself as his might will be much powerful than yours. ( remember, remeber, remember, he maybe taking drugs). Just snap your handbag downwards as fast as possible, the theft will lost his balance and fall to the ground. Waste no time, try get others help. Do not act bravely unless you really prepared. If there is no help coming, try run to the place where is more crowded.

I would suggest if there is help coming, give him a powerful kick at his groin (stomp it really hard), that is the part where man is most vulnerable. ( Lolz, the theft really in pain now)

It will be useful to have a pepper spray with you, in case for emergency used. But, just avoid walking alone in dark area or place where make you more vulnerable to this attack. Walk with friends as you may never know what will happen.

Hope the theft who killed the poor lady been arrested, and brought to face juctice. Hope this ill society can be cured.

Instant Noodle Class Party

Woah. It takes us just 3 days to plan, to organise and to confirm having a class party tonight. Does not it should be called as the Instant Noodle Class Party? Just 2 minutes, we settled it all. It really amazing how words spread. Some uninvited guests even dare to show up. I am not unwelcoming them to come and have fun with us, but please respect the others which wanted to have just and only just 5.3 classmates gathering. Ya, it might not be the best gathering we ever had ( because of the rain and the number of attendancy which is lower than expected) but, I think and agree this will be the most memorable party we ever had. Jathon, CruiC and Mr. Kelwin, they all came all the way down from KL and still willing to waste some time party-ing with us. A million thanks to Qin Wen, Shi Ting, Rui Lynn and Jia which also make the party merrier with the non-stop laughter we all had just now. Shu Hwei and the MPH gang (Ham, Chia Fen, Shu Wen and Phily), I as one of the organiser, is more than happy to see you all joyfully sharing the stories you all had after so long we have not meet. Even Ea attend the party though he should be in his PLKN stint in the Balik Pulau Camp. Andrew and Yee Hang, both music genius in our class, were also be with us singing and wishing Jathon and Shu Hwei happy birthday. Chai Ling and Yi Qi, were also sacrificing some time to gather around like the way we had in the old times. To Zhing Yik, Kam Seng, Wai Cheuck,Jian Wei and Kheng Jie, the party will never be the same without the help and the effort you all been pouring in. Thanks, thanks and thanks...I really appreciate you all willing to attend this party. This maybe our one last big party in this year since everyone will be heading to college or IPTA soon.

Those who miss the party, we will be posting the pictures soon. Thanks to Soon Heng and Hean Ping too, both trying their best to attend it. Well. Take care.

Mat Rempit

(THE STAR) - Many people detest the Mat Rempit because of crimes associated with this group of bikers, and people are now incensed as they are getting more brazen.

Just last Thursday, some 20 Mat Rempit surrounded Kattryn Eng’s 23-year-old daughter, who is deaf and mute, at a petrol kiosk in Subang Jaya at 7am.

They slapped and kicked her daughter before running off with her bag, in the presence of other patrons and attendants.

“My daughter could not even call for help. I am really devastated that such an incident could happen. When my husband brought my daughter to the police station, there were two other parties making similar reports,” said Eng, 57, a travel agent. (Read Eng’s account in the letters page – N30.)

She considers the Mat Rempit a “dangerous nuisance” and insisted that police act before this group became even more daring.

Student T. Selvesvaran, 21, encountered a group of 20 Mat Rempit in Shah Alam six months ago.

“I was sending my friend home. While we were talking in the car, a man on a bike rode past. We thought nothing of it until a few minutes later, when he returned and shouted at me kau keluar sekarang! kalau tak, kau tengok! (come out now or else),” said Selvesvaran.

He immediately started his car to drive away and while doing so, grew alarmed as some 20 motorcyclists joined the man.

They began to hurl rocks as they chased after him.

Selvesvaran drove away as fast as he could and was thankful the Mat Rempit stopped giving chase after a while.

He did not report the matter to the police because he was fearful of retaliation by the group.

Business development executive Daniel Tan, 28, no longer parks by the roadside after encountering a group of menacing Mat Rempit two years ago.

“I parked my car at Old Klang Road early in the morning and got out for some fresh air after a night out with friends.

“A group of six men then approached the car. I thought they wanted to help me, but instead they attacked me without warning.”

One of them hit him on the head with a helmet while the rest started kicking him once he fell.

He added that the Mat Rempit even attempted to steal his car but failed when one of his friends, who was asleep in the car, woke up and fought back.

Tan quickly got into the car and drove away. The motorcyclists chased them for a while before giving up.

Tan needed seven stitches on the head. However, he did not lodge a police report because he doubted the police could do much.

Other recent cases of Mat Rempit attacks include the assault on a Filipina in Kelana Jaya by 15 rogue bikers and another in Kuala Lumpur where at least 40 of them attacked a housewife and her son.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Guys,

I saw this article in Malaysia Today website (mt.m2day.org) which is famous for having Raja Petra Kamarudin as its main blogger.

I am not shocked to see news report involving Mat Rempit ( I prefer called them CELAKA) in our beloved land. We all know they had been ruling the road with their kapcai motorcycle since 70's smthing. What make me shocked to hell is the way they attacking and innoncent OKU just for her handbag. Imagine 30+ bastards, with their old, kapcai motorcycle, circling a young girl which is deaf and mute, they slapped her before snatching her handbag. Tell me, should not I called them BASTARDS ?

They are getting way more dangerous nowadays. Even I will be alerted every time a gang of motor stopped nearby my tuition center at Taman Cemara. They way they rode on the road, show us their brainless activity. They just loitering and wandering around, "usik" some other Bohsia, and doing all those stupid stunts which they think cool.

It really amazed most of the Malaysians if not all, we still unable take serious action against them. Try asking the new cabinet, who will dare to say Malaysians are living in terror at night with those devils racing on the road in almost all across the nation. They snatch, they rape, they assault anything or anyone who try to block them from doing their STUPID hobby.

Just a week ago, a group of those rascals snatch a handphone from an ex-Sin Min guy which is in the same batch with us but do not want his name to be identified for safety reasons. Then, the night after the first incident, a Chinese lady about 2 or 3 years older than me, was assaulted by those Mat Rempit just few metres in front of my shop. Luckily, a few young man and I quickly threw stones and shouted them to leave the girl alone. The poor lady does not lost her belonging, but still in shocked to be assaulted that way. She kept on crying. Imagine this happen to our mother, sister, friends, wife or daughters.

It simply amaze me to know that "Mat Rempit" is put under "Malaysian Culture" in Wikipedia. This is a BIG slap on every Malaysian. I do not know since when the article is posted up there, but I think we should put a full stop at this humilation. This will severely hurt others impressions on us. I do believe, like many other Malaysians, goverment should take action against them and stop them from menacing on the road again.

What is the main culprit behind these problem? Frankly speaking, I think this is all about the teachings in home. Poverty is not a reason, as this endemic even spread to some Dato's children. Many of them do not been teached or received a correct childhood education and proper love since they were young. They start with doing "wheelie" on their bicycle, lepak, and smoking cigarettes even in primary school. Even when their parents or others older siblings saw these act, they do not give them a stern warning and correct them fast. Some of them even praise thosebrave but damn stupid "daredevils" for those acts. And that makes them changed into more violent Mat Rempit. Menacing every road, haunting every man, they are acting like the goverment are building the road for them to race every early morning. Is this the Malaysia we proud for?

I am just 17, I do not spend time long enough to know exactly why this happen, but I do spend enough time long enough to know this should stop. The police should have doing more operation to bust them and send them to face the justice in court. The police may joint force with army unit as this problem are getting worse every day. We must not wait no longer. They do not show any respect to us, to the Police, to the justice. The parliament must make an act against these young Malaysians.

Now, let me make a very honest declaration: I have ZERO tolerance for Mat Rempit (a capital ‘zero’) That’s how I feel whenever the subject of these illegal motorcycle racers (colloquially known as Mat Rempit) is brought up.

If they were lined up to face the firing squad, I don’t mind to volunteer to pull the trigger. To me, these people are a criminal of sort. They are parasites. Their idea of fun is having pleasure on public roads and they have no qualms if others are killed as a result of their having fun.

Tolerate no more. Fed up with all their menace. It just amaze me once again to see this

Khairy Jamaluddin and Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim from Putera UMNO attempt to rebrand "Mat Rempits" as "Mat Cemerlang". The suggestion by Khairy that "Mat Rempits" should become the "Eyes and Ears" for the Malaysian Police Force.

Isn't it amazing to know a politicians who you are voting ( I do not vote for him ) to say this in the public? I am speechless.

Hope for better Malaysia every time woke up from sleep.
